Office of the Director


  1. The Office of the Director, Health Service is responsible for the overall supervision of all activities in the PNP Health Service;
  2. Implements and supervises approved plans, policies and programs formulated by higher Headquarters;
  3. Advises the Chief, PNP on matters pertaining to the health status of PNP personnel;
  4. Recommends to the Chief, PNP through channel the procurement, training, assignment and promotion of the PNP HS personnel as well as activation, deactivation, reorganization and transfer of medical and dental units.
  5. Conduct periodic inspection of all PNP HS units;
  6. Responsible in the formulation and implementation of policies and in planning, directing, coordinating and supervision of all matters pertaining to the administration, accounting and control of funds of the Health Service;
  7. Formulate the quarterly program of budget and activities every fiscal year based on Program Review and Analysis;
  8. Responsible for the proper administration of funds;
  9. Prepare and submit quarterly fund requirements to the Directorate concerned in support of Health Service activities;
  10. Submit prescribed reports to the Directorate for Comptrollership;
  11. Maintain the fiscal records necessary in the accounting and control of funds;
  12. Prepare vouchers/payrolls regarding salaries, differentials of promotion, longevity, incentive, and other allowances.
  13. Prepare change reports for the newly appointed personnel, promotion, long pay, and loans;
  14. Follow-up vouchers/payrolls for Pay and Allowances, TEV, RCA, Retirement/Death Benefits and other allowances;
  15. Responsible for the safekeeping and filing of all documents pertaining to HS budget;
  16. Perform other duties as directed by higher authority

Office of the Deputy Director


  1. Acts as OIC, HS for in the absence of Dir, HS;
  2. Replacement as SCDO duty detail;
  3. Oversees the Administrative and Operational activities of HS as Deputy Director such as Chairman of HS Committees (TPPD, RHE, HS Bidding & Awards (BAC), SOPPB, Special Promotion Awards and Decorations Board, ADHOC Screening Committee (Lateral Entry), PCO Promotion Committee, TWG (HS Organizational Restructuring), HS Special Committee, HS NUP Selection and Promotion Board, HS TWG on PGS Certification) and Membership in HS Committees and NHQ Board;
  4. Attend Staff, Command Activities and other directives; and
  5. Performs such other functions as directed by D, HS.

Office of the Chief of Staff


  1. General admission and member discounts for two adults
  2. Monitor Regional Health Service staff assignments and functions.;
  3. Supervise compliances from Health Service Division Chiefs and HS activities;
  4. Perform other tasks as directed by the Director Health Service, Deputy Director, and from other NHQ superior officers such as attending Execom meetings, TWG meetings and command activities;
  5. Reports/recommends to the D, HS and Deputy Director all the compliances;
  6. Relay orders from the HS Director to all Division Chiefs and RHS Chiefs;
  7. Supervise inflow and outflow incoming and outgoing communications; and
  8. Performs such other functions as directed by D, HS.
